The movie was set in the 17th century where women didn't have the equal rights as men. Casanova was a man who, after failing to win the affection of a particular Venetian woman, strives to discover the real meaning of love.

Quite funny. Not much of those aww.. and LOL moments but it's a good movie. It's predictable yet cute. Thumbs up to the movie and Heath Ledger of course.
